The location for my mirror and reflection assignment were taken in the woods and in class. I photographed nature and my cat and incorporated mirrors for the out of school assignment . For the in school assignment I photographed pieces of stained glass reflected in multiple mirrors. In my reflection picture of my cat I positioned the camera from above. The cat was looking into the mirror which made the reflection look like she was looking directly into the camera. Since I placed the mirror on the ground the sky was reflected in the mirror. The blue from the sky up against the green grass created a nice contrast. Also, I positioned the mirror so it was centered in the middle of the frame to create balance. My photo of the cat is unexpected because it is rare to see a cat looking at its reflection. Also, because it almost looks like a painting instead of a reflection. I don't think that I was able to blur the line between reality and illusion because although it might look like a painting but you can still diferenciate that it is a reflection. There wasn't a photographer or artist who influenced my photos, I was more inspired by the assignment its self than a person.
